Bestowal Dialogue You have done much to aid those allies of the White Company in Imlad Morgul. Thurindol, a Ranger of Ithilien calls upon you to lead the charge in reclaiming Imlad Morgul from the dark grasp surrounding the once proud city of Minas Ithil. You should speak to Thurindol, Ereblen, and Tordoron at Echad Uial as soon as you are able. Background The White Company furthers their efforts in reclaiming Minas Ithil from the grasp of darkness. Objective 1 Talk to Thurindol Talk to Ereblen Talk to Tordoron Thurindol, Ereblen, and Tordoron can be found at Echad Uial. You should talk to Thurindol, Ereblen, and Tordoron. Thurindol: '<name>, you have heeded my call, as I knew you would. You are a faithful ally to the Rangers of Ithilien. 'Faramir has given me orders to begin the long and arduous task of cleansing the Morgul Vale. Our hope is for this valley to once again be a part of Ithilien and Gondor. I shall be focused on the Dead City of Minas Morgul, while my fellow Rangers, Ereblen and Tordoron will focus on the whole of the Vale. There are many tasks in the days ahead. 'Our first task is to retrieve Lhaereth's book on her Great Plague. I am sure it can still be found within the Hall of Black Lore. Will you retrieve the book for us?' You should attempt to enter Ghashan-kútot. Objective 3 Convince someone to get the book you seek Someone who is able to enter Ghashan-kútot must be nearby. You should find someone who may be able to enter Ghashan-kútot. The cataloguer seems to be searching for something Black Númenórean Cataloguer says, "Where is it?! It must be around here somewhere...." Black Númenórean Cataloguer: 'You make a grave mistake if you have come to kill me, <race>. What will that accomplish, hmmm? 'What? You should collect the pages. You should bring the pages of the book to him for a trade. The Black Númenórean has been slain very recently. It is uncertain by whom, or what. The pages of the books you hold must have been important if both Thargaun and Dolguzigir both desire possession of the book. Perhaps you should bring the pages to Thurindol for closer inspection. Objective 7 Talk to Thurindol Thurindol can be found at Echad Uial. You should talk to Thurindol. Thurindol: 'I can see now that breaching the archives may be more difficult than I previously thought. However, these pages you have collected bring me hope. I believe these pages may hold the key to defeating the dark sorcery that sits upon the city. It will not be possible to truly reclaim Minas Ithil until this veil of sorcery is lifted.'
