If we destroy all the artifacts, the aura of sorcery around Minas Morgul will begin to decay. 'What is more, we now know the location of the fourth artifact. It rests in a chamber upon the Circle of Despair. Quickly now, we must make for the chamber and destroy the artifact!' Background For those reclaiming Minas Ithil from the grasp of darkness, a trial of despair has begun. Objective 1 Enter the Altar of Despair The Altar of Despair can be found in the Circle of Despair in Minas Morgul. You should enter the Altar of Despair. Objective 2 Examine the barrier protecting the artifact The Altar of Despair can be found in the Circle of Despair in Minas Morgul. You should examine the barrier protecting the artifact. There does not seem to be any way to destroy the barrier Objective 3 Examine the plaque The Altar of Despair can be found in the Circle of Despair in Minas Morgul. You should examine the plaque next to the altar. The positioning of the gems upon the plaque is odd Objective 4 Make an etching of the plaque The Altar of Despair can be found in the Circle of Despair in Minas Morgul.
