Walkthrough & Notes

The Moria-mirror is in Nud-melek, on the first bend [5.4S, 98.7W] going up the ramped roadway in Sudulthurkh that leads toward the Fanged Pit in Durin's Way. The mirror is above the path taken between the First Hall and Second Hall; so it cannot be seen from the path. It is much easier to get to this location from the Sudulthurkh stable-master. There are several stationary orcs working along this roadway and a patrol. Most of these orcs can be dodged without combat. There are four orcs clustered around the mirror that will need to be removed. There are several generic guards at the eastern end of the First Hall. The guard to turn in this quest is by the Stable-master, next to the exit leading to the Dimrill Dale. Completing this quest advances the Reflections deed.

Background The dwarf-mirrors of Khazad-dûm once illuminated the underground halls, but many of them have since fallen into disrepair or have been knocked out of alignment. Objective 1 Speak to a Guard at the East Gate of Moria in Nud-melek Dwarves hold the East Gate of Moria in Nud-melek. You should tell a guard of your continuing efforts towards lighting Khazad-dûm once more. 'You Found and corrected that mirror's position? Excellent! Did you run into any trouble?' Completed.
