Walkthrough & Notes

This quest can appear during the defense of the central gate-wall (Stage III) of the Epic Battle: Hammer of the Underworld. Its alternative is Broken by Fear. Five Battle-weary Soldiers will spawn in south side of the courtyard, and will each be attacked by a Risen Fell Spirit. All five fell spirits must be defeated. Defeating all five of the fell spirits will trigger a fell-beast to descend into the area. Once damaged to around 30% morale, the fell-beast will become untargetable and fly away, completing the quest.

Background The vile sorcery of the Nazgûl has been let loose on the inhabitants of Minas Tirith. Fell-spirits have risen from the dead of Sauron's armies, and now fell-beasts circle ever closer the battle. Objective 1 Defend soldiers of Minas Tirith from fell spirits and the Enemy's fell-beast You should defeat the fell spirits threatening the remaining warriors of Gondor, and drive off the Enemy's vile fell-beasts.
