Ravalyn dwells among the dwarves of Moria, defending their halls against cave-claws, goblins, and worse. Although Durin's folk did not trust the tall woman with Gondorian blood at first, she gained their respect with her preparations of strategic defences in the Battle of the Twenty-first Hall.
Ravalyn wears the shield with the emblem of her home country with pride: on her back when travelling or on the offensive (she is especially effective using a two-handed sword); in her left hand when defending others.
