Description
Physical Description:
Long red hair, bright green eyes, and a face full of freckles; it's hard to tell twin sisters Meagera and Teigan Broden apart. It also doesn't help that they dress similar and use their likeness to confound their enemies on the battle field.
Personality Description:
Being much more outspoken than her twin sister, Teigan, Meagera is always the leader of their hunts and decided much of their plans. She, being the older by mere minutes, had to take responsibility for herself and her sister at a very young age. Her quick-thinking and strict orders on the battle-field causes her to come off as rude, but Meagera is a loyal companion and doesn't want to see her sister or a friend fall in battle. When she meets a fellow traveler, she feels the need to protect them for as long as their paths stay crossed. She doesn't seek to be the strongest warrior, or the most famous, only to protect the people and the land that she loves.
Biography
Meagera Broden, and her twin sister, Teigan, were born just outside a small village in Northern Rohan. Her childhood was very happy and her mother and father, Bryttawyn and Sigorlean, taught her much about the Rohirric way of life. Her father, lacking a son to pass onto his knowledge, wisely taught Meagera to wield a spear and shield, throw a javelin, and ride a horse. Her mother also taught her how to grow her own crops, cook, and tailor her own armor. Little did they know how important their lessons would be to the twins. One night after the twin's twelfth birthday, a band of Wild Men attacked their village and killed all who lived in it; the twins barely survived. They had nothing. They took refuge in a small forest a few miles from their destroyed hometown and rebuilt their life. Just the essentials, small and secluded. From that day forward they vowed to protect each other as well as Rohan's families. They practiced daily with spear and shield, teaching each other how to persevere while in battle. They also trained in surprise attacks and would often dress alike to confuse their foes. After following the Wild Men to Nan Curunír, they saw Saruman's evil and eventually followed the band far from their home and to the North. They travel together always. And seek only vengeance.
