Thorgest is found inside his haven at Hrimbarg in the Misty Mountains. He is resting after being ambushed by the Gauredain to the south, possibly poisoned or cursed as he slowly loses his sanity. His brother Thorkell was slain by worms in the Writhenbores as well, causing him a great deal of grief.
