Belegaer, the Great Sea, or "the Sundering Seas", is the ocean of Arda that is west of Middle-earth.[1]

Though Belegaer borders three sides of Middle-earth, it is currently only accessible in the game in the forms of the Ice Bay of Forochel in Forochel, and the Bay of Belfalas. The Bay is accessed through several regions, including Cobas Haven in Western Gondor, the south shores of Central Gondor and King's Gondor, the shores of Anfalas, and the waters surrounding the Shield Isles and the Cape of Umbar.
