Effects
Using this skill applies 
The Breaking of Thangorodrim and 
Renewed Defences to the enemy target, and Echo of the Breaking of Thangorodrim to all other enemies within 10 metres of the original target.
The Renewed Defences effect prevents re-application of this and similar skills on the same target for 90 seconds.
Skill Interactions
The active cooldown of this skill is reduced by 3 seconds when 
Lunge is used.
The Minstrel skill 
Call to Greatness resets the active cooldown of this skill.

Many Hands in the Rover trait tree makes this skill have up to a 100% chance to restore Power to the fellowship.
Tracery Interactions
- Shanty Skills Healing increases the healing (and power restoration) of this skill by up to 22%.
Armour Set Interactions
Equipping both pieces of the Insignia of the Shagâni Navigator acquired from the Legacy of Morgoth Instance Cluster increases the healing (and power restoration) of this skill by 10%, and makes it apply Shielding Shanties to the Mariner.
Tactical Information
Breaking of Thangorodrim is the Mariner's version of Oathbreaker's Shame. As such, the usage of this skill should be coordinated with the group so as to maximize damage.
