Social:Raenruin

Raenruin is the Sindarin word meaning "wander red flame" or wanders of red flame. The Raenruin are devoted to protecting and exploring Middle Earth. It was an elf kinship in its beginning, until a Caun brought a dwarf into the kinship. They do not recuit openly, and any elf, man or dwarf must pass test given to him or her by a Caun. Hobbits have not been involved in the Raenruin, because most of the Cauns dislike their ways.

History

Little is known about the founder of the kinship, Daniil the hunter from Mirkwood. He was seen all over Middle Earth, and seems to light fires where ever he goes. He is skilled with the bow, and helps his friends. There seems to be no fear in him, for he will run pass beasts that are feared throughtout Middle Earth. He will become the founder of Raenruin when he meets Destail, the elf champion. Destail is an elf who is looked over in history. Related to the famous Legolas, Destail mentored him in the ways of war. His history dates in the early ages, and is a different tale for a different day. Destail had gone with an ill fated quests into the caves near Moria. He ventured across the misy mountains, there he found Daniil wandering, as he was famous for. They soon became friends both being elves from the Great Greenwood. They agreed to form a kinship, and would meet again. They then split up, Destail going westward, and Daniil going eastward. Little is known of Daniils travels; all that remains are ashes from campfires. Destail then traveled with Thorin to the mines of Moria. There he meet Balin in the great dwarf city, but was there when the balrog attack. Destail was able to push back the balrog after a fierce battle, but his newly formed dwarf friends died in the battle. He soon left the dark halls of Moria, Destail then came across a dwarf called Durlak Toughbeard. The Toughbeards history is also another long tail. They became friends and travel to Mirkwood together. After a few years, Destail and Daniil meet again and made Raenruin. Durlak's son Foral also became friends with Destail and Daniil, but was not invite to the Raenruin. Foral's son Tokald became friends with the Raenruin too. Foral died in a battle when Tokald was still a young dwarf, and soon after Durlak also past away. This left the young dwarf Tokald (only 65) without father or grandfather, and the last of the Toughbeards. Destail became his mentor and brought him into the Raenruin. The three main members, Daniil the founder, Destail the Caun, and Tokald became the leaders of this small kinship, and still led it to this day.

Deeds and Campaigns

-Tokald and Destail where guided by Daniil to the elf city Rivendell. They traveled all the way from Thorin's Gates. It will be known as the First Wandering, or the Bear Wandering, for all the bears that kept the travel tough.
