General Information
The "Shields" skill allows the use of so-called "Light" shields. It does not allow the use of Heavy Shields or Warden's Shields. In LoTRO, a little confusion surrounds the naming conventions of "Light" shields. In game, "Light" shields are simply referred to as "Shields". In this Wiki, the same "Shields" are referred to as "Light Shields".
Light Shields (i.e. Shields) slightly reduce the chance to be critically hit.

The following character classes can use the "Shields" skill beginning at the specified character level:
