Location
Sûlok are found wandering Dor Amarth in the Plateau of Gorgoroth.
Description
The Sûlokil (singular Sûlok) are horned, stony-skinned beasts native to the land of Mordor. They are a local variant of the Aurochs. Normally docile, a Sûlok will not attack unless provoked. The armies of Mordor use these creatures as beasts of burden, forcing them to pull their siege devices and other weapons of war. Most notably, Sûlokil were used to pull the battering ram Grond to the gates of Minas Tirith. Unfamiliar with the creatures, the Men of Gondor simply referred to them as the "Great Beasts."

Lore
In The Return of the King, J.R.R. Tolkien mentions the mysterious great beasts used to transport Grond. Little information is given about them. The name Sûlok/Sûlokil is unique to The Lord of the Rings Online.
