Bestowal Dialogue The Ranger does not acknowledge your arrival. 'We need to investigate Aegollant. Scouts have reported an increased presence of bandits in the area looting and pillaging travellers along those roads.' 'To make matters worse, deserters have been captured by these bandits. Release them, and send them back home.' The Ranger idles once again and looks past you as though you do not exist. Background Dierna would like to investigate the recent appearance of bandits in Aegollant. Objective 1 Free captured deserters (0/6) Defeat Aegollant Archers (0/8 Defeat Aegollant Sneaks (0/8) Dierna has asked you to investigate Aegollant, release captured deserters, and to cull the number of bandits in the area. Aegollant is south-west of Arnach. Deserter says, "I have no words!" Deserter says, "For Gondor!" Deserter says, "I am in your debt!" Deserter says, "My thanks!" Deserter says, "You have my thanks!" Objective 2 Talk to Dierna The deserters have been freed and many bandits defeated. You should talk to Dierna. Dierna is in Arnach. Dierna: Dierna nods at you. 'Well done.' Dierna's face is obscured, but you can sense a brief smirk.
