Walkthrough & Notes
This quest can be completed at the One/Two size once daily for credit (can be repeated daily for no credit.) Uruk-hai Champions and Orc Ravagers will climb onto the wall near the ballistae and attack either the ballistae or the nearby soldiers. Siege Trolls will occasionally run up the stairs and similarly attempt to attack the ballistae.

Quest Text

Background The enemy has sent a group of Orcs and trolls to destroy the ballistae on the tower above the gatehouse and to breach the last fortifications along the walkway to the Hornburg. The ballistae and barricades have served to aid in the defence of the fortress and will be a heavy loss if destroyed by the enemy. Objective Defeat the waves of attackers (0/8) Do not let the final barricades become destroyed (0/2) Defeat the enemies assaulting the barricades and ballistae protecting the Hornburg. Aragorn will aid in the defence, but if he or the blockade fall, the Hornburg will surely be lost to your foes. Merit Rating This quest starts with Full Merit Rating.
