This quest counts for the Aiding the Norcrofts deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. Orcs and Uruks occur throughout the instance. Mainly you will want to defeat them as you clear a path to the totem objective of the related instance quest. There are Elite mob spawns also. The mobs tend to respawn quite quickly so be aware of that if returning to the entrance portal (see note below). Leave by returning to the entrance portal or quicker, click 'Leave Instance' from your character portrait menu once you have completed the Ost Magol quests.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'The Orcs and Uruks within Ost Magol are close to finding what they seek: a powerful, dark energy to fuel their foul ambitions. We are barely able to stand against them now, but if they discover a new power to aid them in battle, all will be lost. 'Search the ruins and defeat the Orcs and Uruks who are hunting within.' Background Orcs and Uruks have been defiling Ost Magol with totems of their dark leaders. Objective 1 Defeat Orcs and Uruks in Ost Magol (0/10) Orcs and uruks can be found at Ost Magol. Aldbéort asked you to venture into Ost Magol and defeat the Orcs and Uruks within. Aldbéort: 'If the Orcs and Uruks find a darkness to power their evil, we shall all not be able to withstand it.' Enter the Public Instance: Ost Magol Objective 2 Talk to Aldbéort Aldbéort is at Cliving. Aldbéort will be pleased to hear the Orcs and Uruks in Ost Magol have been defeated. Aldbéort: 'The Orcs shall return... the power of Ost Magol is too tempting for them to resist. For now, though, the ruins are quiet.'
