Walkthrough & Notes

Find a nearby Expert Jeweller or Novice Jeweller. Right-click the jeweller starter pack in your inventory to obtain the necessary ingredients; you need to have free slots. Equip your Inferior Jeweller's Tools and go to a workbench. On the crafting window for Jeweller, look up the recipe for Copper Ring and craft one. Return to the jeweller NPC for approval; you are allowed to keep the ring after inspection. Notes: This quest is given by any Master of Apprentices and is essentially the same, with just some differences in dialogue depending on location and the Jeweller NPC who is involved. Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'I love to wear rings and bangles. Perhaps when you are more experienced, you can make me some finery. 'You will want to speak with Berylla Goodchild over near the workbench. She has volunteered her time and energy to teach all the new apprentices. Mind her well.' Background Jewellers create adornments that can be imbued with some measure of power. They are a welcome member of the Crafting Guilds. Be careful! You will need to complete the correct recipes and deliver the correct items outlined in this quest. You will need to execute the leather pad and rough cloak recipes and deliver the rough cloak. Failing to do so will force you to obtain new raw materials or to restart the quest after a 24-hour delay. Objective 1 Speak with <NPC> at the workbench in the crafting area to learn more about jewelcrafting. You should speak with <NPC> at the workbench in <location> to learn more about jewelcrafting. 'Well, look here, another would-be jeweller. I am pleased to meet you and looking forward to helping you get started. 'If I go too fast, or you need help at any point, you can ask me questions about jewelcrafting, and I will do my best to provide you with clear direction. The first and most important step is having the proper ingredients. 'I set aside a few for new jewellers like yourself. Take this crate and let us begin.' Jeweller vendors sell ingredients and recipes that are a vital part of any Jeweller's training and continued work. You have been provided with ingredients Objective 2 Open the crate given to you by <NPC> to collect the copper ingots <NPC> provided you with a crate full of ingredients that you can use to execute the copper ring recipe. Open the crate to get the ingredients. Ingredients for Jewellers are normally purchased from vendors or traded from players with the prospecting profession. You can also find ingredients on the Auction Hall. You now have all the ingredients to make a copper ring Objective 3 Using the ingredient you received, craft a copper ring <NPC> provided you with the ingredients necessary to create a copper ring. Approach the workbench and prepare the copper ring. You have made a copper ring Objective 4 Bring the copper ring to <NPC> The recipe is complete. Do not sell the copper ring! It is time to show your handiwork to your mentor, <NPC>. 'Let me see what you were able to do...' She inspects the ring with a discerning eye. 'I see no seam in the metal, and it is smooth against the skin.' 'I think that you have done very, very well, <your name>. I approve and declare you a novice jeweller.'
