Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue The Stones Returned "The five stones beg to be returned to their rightful places. By your hand, he will be unleased." Background The time has come to reunite the five stones. Their purpose will finally be revealed! Objective 1 Place the Secret Stone on its pedestal The time has finally come. You must place the Secret Stone on the fifth pedestal. Objective 2 Witness the release of the Shadowed King Frethi's panicked words shake you to your core. A haze you did not realize was present suddenly lifts from your min. A powerful feeling of dread washes over you. Frethi the Explorer: 'What are you doing? You cannot release the Nameless! Durin the Deathless himself sealed it away!' He notices your confused expression and takes a step back to explain. Frethi the Explorer: 'Listen, I translated the rest of the runes, and they are a dire warning! They say that returning the stones will release a being know as the Shadowed King!' Suddenly the ground beneath you begins to shake. Frethi the Explorer: 'It has begun! Look out!' Frethi the Explorer shouts, "<name>, what have you done?!" Frethi the Explorer shouts, "He is coming!" The Shadowed King shouts, "I am released." The Shadowed King shouts, "Thank you, my loyal servant." The Shadowed King shouts, "Throkhâr lives still. I will find you, my master..." The Shadowed King shouts, "And I will enact your vengeance upon the children of the Valar!" Frethi the Explorer shouts, "Ack! No! He is escaping!" Completed Frethi is clearly injured from the Shadowed King's attack. Frethi the Explorer: 'You must... return to King Thorin! Please! He must know of what happened here, and the Shadowed King's threats! I will recover, just go!' You will swiftly travel to Erebor!
