- King Váskmun Greytooth says, "Zôreth has deceived you all! Spakorth was taken by one of her spirits!"
- King Váskmun Greytooth says, "Bind Spakorth to one of the pillars and watch him! He is no friend of mine -- not anymore!"

- King Váskmun Greytooth says, "Surrender Manthríf and I will spare you for your crimes against us!"
- Zôreth, Mistress of Lûghash says, "Will you now?"

- Zôreth, Mistress of Lûghash says, "Fool of a dwarf! I do not have the Ring!"
- Zôreth, Mistress of Lûghash says, "So this is what the years of wearing the Dwarf-ring in the dungeons did to you? Oh yes, I know about that!"

- King Greytooth: 'No! Manthríf is gone...lost...stolen! The death of this wretched woman means nothing!'
- King Greytooth swings Dolgráth the Battle-hungry into Zôreth's lifeless body, and spits upon her corpse.
- 'What right had she to speak of my imprisonment? Zôreth knew what tortures Sauron visited upon me in the dungeons of Barad-dûr! How could she know such things?! To spread such lies about me — to sow the belief that I could not resist the Dark Lord's tortures and fell prey to the weakness of my forebears.. it is unthinkable. And you believe it don't you?
- 'For how long have you and Gimli conspired against me? Durin's Folk damned my people! How do I know you did not find it in the Dark Tower when I asked you to search for it? Manthríf is mine — it is mine by right!
- 'None shall stand against me in my quest to reclaim it! Not Zôreth, not Spakorth, not even you and Gimli!'
- Hear King Greytooth's edict
- King Váskmun Greytooth says, "Hearken to me, my brethren!"
- King Váskmun Greytooth says, "This day we shed the name given to us by the Dark Lord in mockery of my forefathers!"
- King Váskmun Greytooth says, "The Stout-Axes.. the Khirvísa.. those dwarves are dead and gone!"
- King Váskmun Greytooth says, "And so too do we shed the name of Drása himself, for this day we are born again!"
- King Váskmun Greytooth says, "We are the Firehorns, proud and unbroken, and Manthríf will be ours once more! That is the oath I now swear!"
- King Váskmun Greytooth says, "These traitors and thieves: Gimli, Spakorth, and <name> are banished from our spire -- the Oath-taker's Horn!"
- King Váskmun Greytooth says, "This is the only mercy I can offer you now! Begone!"
- Eitur: [Dwarf: 'Dwarf or not, it's] time to go, <name>.'
