Background After retrieving Thrór's Hammer and the necessary materials, Dwalin's smith, Litli, forged for you a mithril key that should allow you to pass the gates of Carn Dûm. Objective 1 Return the Carn Dûm gate key to Lorniel Lorniel awaits your return at Gath Forthnír in eastern Angmar. You should return with the key to Lorniel. Litli: 'That key should do all that you need, <name>. You should return now to your task and make use of it!' Dwalin: 'Good fortune to you, <name>. You and your friends in Angmar will need it.' Lorniel: 'You have returned with the key! Let us hope, my friend, that the key from which this was cast was not a false guide....'
