Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue Posted Bounties: A bounty is posted on this board. It reads: 'Wanted: an adventurer to slay the dread-tortoise known as Kasâshu the Grinder. This massive beast has eaten something of great value to a solider of Aradûn, and the object must be reclaimed from its innards. The Grinder was last seen among the other dread-tortoises at Karmu Râx. The Servants of Aradûn offer a reward for any who can assist with this task.' OR Kâbtam: Arâniz told us that the Aradûni have posted a bounty on a certain dread-tortoise at Karmu Râx called 'Kasâshu the Grinder'. Apparently he ate something of value to them? It did not seem worth the risk to us, but perhaps you would like to take them up on it.' Background A bounty has been posted for the slaying of a massive dread-tortoise. Objective 1 Collect the 'item of great value' Defeat Kasâshu the Grinder You have accepted a bounty to defeat Kasâshu the Grinder and reclaim something of great value from his belly. You should travel to Karmu Râx and complete the bounty. Defeated Kasâshu the Grinder The only item of note inside the tortoise is a severed hand! Objective 2 Talk to Ashâb  Slightly-digested Hand You have reclaimed someone's severed hand from the dread-tortoise. You should return to Ashâb at The Dawn-warden for your reward. Ashâb: You produce the severed hand and show it to Ashâb. He grimaces at the ghastly sight, but seems relieved that you have returned with it. 'Ah! I was worried no one would ever complete this bounty. That dread-tortoise was proving very difficult to kill.' Ashâb removes the glove from the hand, revealing a simple gold wedding ring on one of the fingers. 'This is the true item of great value. One of our soldiers lost his hand to that beast, but refused to return home without it. You have done him a great service, <name>.'
