King Minaardil was the 25th King of Gondor, ruling from 1621 to 1634 of the Third Age. His reign was brief and turbulent. He was slain by the Corsairs of Umbar during their attack on Pelargir in 1634. His steward, Húrin of Emyn Arnen, would found the line of the House of Húrin, who became the Ruling Stewards of Gondor centuries later.
Minardil ruled Gondor for only 13 years, and was succeeded by his son, Telemnar Sintavarda. He was honored with a statue and plaque on the Player's Tier of Minas Tirith.
