Skill Interactions

When specialized in Master of Nature's Fury, using  Call to the Valar resets the active cooldown of this skill.

When specialized in Keeper of Animals, using this skill reduces the active cooldown of  Sign of the Wild: Rage by 2 seconds.

Trait Interactions

• The set bonus  Improved Ignition in the Master of Nature's Fury trait tree makes this skill consume the Smouldering Embers bleed to deal bonus damage to all targeted enemies.
  
• The trait  Storm and Staff in the Master of Nature's Fury trait tree makes the Lore-master generate stacks of Lightning-charged, up to 3 stacks. Landing critical hits with this skill generates additional stacks (each hit can crit).
  
• The trait  Fierce Lightning in the Master of Nature's Fury trait tree makes this skill have up to a 100% chance to apply Fierce Lightning.

Tactical Information

Lightning Storm is a strong AoE burst damage skill, no matter how you are traited. When traited, Lightning Storm cashes out Burning Embers on all enemy targets. Make sure Burning Embers is tiered up to max tier before using this skill. This skill should be used as much as possible to proc the cash out. To maximize AoE damage, make sure to use Gust of Wind before this, as it will spread Burning Embers to all nearby enemies. In Red-line, make sure to use this skill when all Lightning-charged Staff Strike charges have run out, as crits will regenerate charges.
