Description

The High Pass links the Vales of Anduin and the Misty Mountains and is one of the major passes across the mountains, though it runs very near to Goblin-town. The pass is guarded these days by the Beornings.

The pass opens into the Northern High Pass in the Misty Mountains. ^{[20.0S, 8.3E]} This is the way Bilbo Baggins took when returning home for the quest to Erebor.
