Description
Gram was the 8th King of Rohan, reigning for a total of twenty-three years.
Born in the Kingdom of Rohan in T.A. 2668 during the reign of his grandfather King Goldwine, Gram was the only son of Déor, who became the seventh King of Rohan in T.A. 2699. After King Déor passed following his nineteen year rule, the Kingship passed then to Prince Gram in T.A. 2718.
King Gram's reign saw continued hostilities against the Dunlending hill tribes in the west, who continued to raid and harass the Rohirrim. aside from this, little else is known about his reign, save that he passed away in T.A. 2741, aged seventy-three. He would be succeeded by his son Helm, who would see the conflict with the Dunlendings reach it's height.
