Description
Glurnákh, the Pit of Greed, is the third and final of the three Ring-prisons of the Abyss of Mordath, where the ancient worm of Angband Fingar the Greedy was imprisoned after his capture by Karazgar in the Third Age. While the pits of flame and frost were sufficiently damaged after the final defeat of Sauron for their winged occupants to escape, Fingar remains in the Pit of Greed.
