Description
Glúrghash, the Pit of Flame, is the first of the three Ring-prisons of the Abyss of Mordath, where the fire-drake Thostír the Rank was imprisoned after his capture by Karazgar sometime in the Third Age. After Sauron's final defeat and the subsequent upheaval of Mordor, Thostír's prison was damaged such that he could and did escape.
