Location
Erkenbrand is found at Erkenbrand's Refuge in the Westfold. He is the Lord of the Westfold, and during the War on Rohan, he and his forces were repelled at the Second Battle of the Fords of Isen. It was he that left behind a garrison of 1,000 men at the fortress of Helm's Deep, and sent the women and children of the Westfold to refuge there. Gandalf searches for Erkenbrand and his men in order to aid the defenders of the Hornburg for the upcoming battle.
