While Orcs dislike the sun nearly as much as their lesser brethren, the goblins, they have more tolerance for it and can be forced to endure it for a time when necessity—or the lash of their masters—demands. Despite this, the River Hobbits of Misthallow know all too well that Orcs and goblins of the North often stalk the mists that linger upon the Wells of Langflood.

It has been said of late that Orcs and goblins have spread across the Misty Mountains to serve a new power that grows in Angmar. It seems they strive to claim the North, even as rumours of war spread from Mordor in the South. For the first time in several generations, the River Hobbits of Misthallow recite tales of the one called the Necromancer and fearfully whisper of the Enemy's return.

You and other brave River Hobbits of Misthallow must continue to oppose the growing might of the Orcs and goblins who serve the Enemy, until the greater forces of the Free Peoples of Middle-earth can be rallied against them.
