Legends and stories persist among them of the River Hobbits of Misthallow, but there is little time to speak of such trifles in the service of the Enemy.

The minds of Orcs and goblins are weak and easily befuddled, and this is a great boon to the River Hobbits, for it allows them to strike against their foes with surprise and precision—shrouded in the mists that blanket the Wells of Langflood.

Even far from their homes in Lyndelby, however, clever River Hobbits can still outsmart the most powerful of Orcs and goblins.
