Elain is a Dunlending woman of the Caru-lûth, the Stag Clan, in north-western Dunland. She makes her home at Lhan Tarren. She was recently taken captive by a band of Draig-lûth warriors, but escaped and has returned to her work as a hunter and protector of her clan.
