Durin (Northern for King) can refer to many different notable dwarves:
- Durin I, also known as Durin the Deathless, eldest of the Seven Fathers of the Dwarves, after whom many other dwarves, especially the Longbeards, are named
 - Durin II, who offered the Zhélruka a home in Gundabad
 - Durin III, who ruled in Khazad-dûm when Sauron laid waste to Eregion
 - Durin IV, king of the Longbeards during the War of the Last Alliance, found at Echad-in-Edhil in Mordor Besieged
 - Durin V, who fought the dragon Thorog
 - Durin VI, king of the Longbeards in Moria just before its fall. The Balrog, Durin's Bane, is named for him
 - Durin VII, also known as Durin Stonehelmson, the current prince of the Longbeards and son of King Thorin III Stonehelm
 - The son of Hermáth Stormhammer and father of Hersegg
