Deep-claws have burrowed through the roots of Redhorn the Cruel, White Silvertine, and Grey Cloudyhead to further sully and curse the Black Pit that is Moria.

• A good place to farm deep-claws is Katûb-zahar in the Great Delving. ^{[7.0S, 111.0W]}
• Crafting Instances: three separate locations in Moria, each with two sub-locations. They can be entered only after picking up the 1-3 quests to enter the instance. These are the instances, with links to the main quests that allow access:

• Bult-kâr/Sejer-tharâkh
• Fulz-zahar/Tumun-ghâr
• Mekeb-faham/Mekeb-farak.
• The types of mobs present is random on each entry into the instance, but they include goblins, morroval, deep/cave claws, and grodbog.
