How to Reach Mastery in Each tier* (Proficiency XP/Mastery XP)

Note*: The figures given are calculated on the assumption that critical success will never occur. Actual figures may in fact be lower than those that are given. Furthermore, the recipes listed in order to attain mastery are merely suggestions. These suggestions are chosen due to the fact that they yield the largest amount of craft XP. If so desired, other recipes may be used. However, it should be noted that doing so may require a larger number of materials in order to attain the same goal.

Apprentice (200/400)

• For each Mushroom Pie, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1 Pie Crust, each of which requires:
    • 2 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, each of which requires:
      • 2 Bundles of Spring Barley
        • 1 Fair Spring Barley Crop
    • 1 Chicken Egg
  • 1 Mushroom
    • 1 Fair Mushroom Crop
• 15 Mushroom Pie (30 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, 15 Chicken Eggs, and 15 Mushrooms) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 29 additional, or a total of 44, Mushroom Pie (88 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, 44 Chicken Eggs, and 44 Mushrooms) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

Journeyman (280/560)

• For each Coney Pie, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1 Pie Crust, each of which requires:
    • 2 Cups of Spring Barley Flour
    • 1 Chicken Egg
  • 1 Marinated Coney, each of which requires:
    • 1 Yellow Onion
    • 1 Coney
    • 1 Pinch of Shire Seasonings
• 20 Coney Pies (40 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, 20 Chicken Eggs, and 20 Marinated Conies) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 40 additional, or a total of 60, Coney Pies (120 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, 60 Chicken Eggs, and 60 Marinated Conies) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

Expert (360/720)

• For each Steak and Kidney Pie, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1 Pie Crust, each of which requires:
    • 2 Cups of Spring Barley Flour
    • 1 Chicken Egg
  • 1 Cut of Marinated Beef, each of which requires:
    • 1 Green Onion
    • 1 Cut of Beef
    • 1 Bag of Salt
  • 1 Lamb Kidney
• 23 Steak and Kidney Pies (46 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, 23 Chicken Eggs, and 23 Cuts of Marinated Beef) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 45 additional, or a total of 68, Steak and Kidney Pies (136 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, 68 Chicken Eggs, and 68 Cuts of Marinated Beef) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

Artisan (440/880)

• For each Shire Rations, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1 Marinated Chicken Cutlet, each of which requires:
    • 1 Green Onion
    • 1 Uncooked Chicken
    • 1 Pouch of Fine Seasonings
  • 1 Shire Apple
  • 1 Sharp Cheese Wheel
• 28 Shire Rations (28 Green Onion, 28 Uncooked Chicken, 28 Pouch of Fine Seasonings, 28 Shire Apple, and 28 Sharp Cheese Wheel) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 55 additional, or a total of 83 Shire Rations (83 Green Onion, 83 Uncooked Chicken, 83 Pouch of Fine Seasonings, 83 Shire Apple, and 83 Sharp Cheese Wheel) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Raspberry Tart recipe is more cost efficient if you already have the recipe or if the event where you can earn it is currently running. Otherwise, you'll have to buy this recipe from the Auction House which can mean you spend much more coin than if you went with the Shire Rations.

• For each Raspberry Tart, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1 Cup of Winter Barley Flour
  • 1 Raspberry Pie Filling, each of which requires:
    • 2 Bunches of Raspberries
    • 1 Drop of Honey
  • 1 Lump of Butter
  • 1 Bottle of Water
• 28 Raspberry Tarts (28 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, 56 Bunches of Raspberries, 28 Drop of Honey), 28 Lump of Butter, and 28 Bottle of Water must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 55 additional, or a total of 83 Raspberry Tarts 83 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, 166 Bunches of Raspberries, 83 Drop of Honey), 83 Lump of Butter, and 83 Bottle of Water must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

Master (520/1,040)

• For each Perfect Pie, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1 Pie Crust, each of which requires:
    • 2 Cups of Spring Barley Flour
    • 1 Chicken Egg
  • 1 Blackberry Pie Filling, each of which requires:
    • 2 Bunches of Blackberries
    • 1 Drop of Honey
• 29 Perfect Pies (58 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, 29 Chicken Eggs, 58 Bunches of Blackberries, and 29 Drops of Honey) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 58 additional, or a total of 87, Perfect Pies (174 Cups of Spring Barley Flour, 87 Chicken Eggs, 174 Bunches of Blackberries, and 87 Drops of Honey) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

Supreme (600/1,200)

• For each Rack of Lamb with Mint Sauce, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1 Jar of Mint Sauce, each of which requires:
    • 2 Bundles of Mint Leaves
    • 1 Bottle of Vinegar
    • 1 Pinch of Mixed Spice
  • 1 Rack of Lamb
  • 1 Pinch of Mixed Herbs
• 60 Rack of Lamb with Mint Sauce (120 Bundles of Mint Leaves, 60 Bottle of Vinegar, 60 Pinch of Mixed Spice, 60 Rack of Lamb, and 60 Pinch of Mixed Herbs) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 120 additional, or a total of 180 Rack of Lamb with Mint Sauce (360 Bundles of Mint Leaves, 180 Bottle of Vinegar, 180 Pinch of Mixed Spice, 180 Rack of Lamb, and 180 Pinch of Mixed Herbs) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Strawberry-rhubarb Tart recipe is more cost efficient if you already have the recipe or if the event where you can earn it is currently running. Otherwise, you'll have to buy this recipe from the Auction House which can mean you spend much more coin than if you went with the Rack of Lamb with Mint Sauce.

• For each Strawberry-rhubarb Tart, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1 Ball of Dough, each of which requires:
    • 2 Cups of Winter Barley Flour
    • 1 Bottle of Water
  • 1 Strawberry-rhubarb Filling, each of which requires:
    • 1 Bunch of Strawberries
    • 1 Stalk of Rhubarb
    • 1  Drop of Fine Clover Honey
  • 1 Lump of Butter
  • 1 Bottle of Water
• 38 Strawberry-rhubarb Tarts (76 Cups of Winter Barley Flour, 76 Bottles of Water, 38 Strawberry-rhubarb Fillings, and 38 Lumps of Butter) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 75 additional, or a total of 113, Strawberry-rhubarb Tarts (226 Cups of Winter Barley Flour, 226 Bottles of Water, 113 Strawberry-rhubarb Fillings, and 113 Lumps of Butter) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

Westfold (680/1,360)

• For each Breaded Oxtail, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1 Cup of Bread-crumbs, each of which requires:
    • 1 Loaf of Black Barley Bread, each of which requires:
      • 2 Cups of Black Barley Flour, each of which requires:
        • 4 Bundles of Black Barley
      • 1  Drop of Fine Clover Honey
      • 1 Chicken Egg
  • 1 Oxtail
  • 1 Chicken Egg
• 38 Breaded Oxtails (152 Bundles of Black Barley, 76 Chicken Eggs, 38  Drop of Fine Clover Honey, and 38 Oxtails) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 76 additional, or a total of 114 Breaded Oxtails (456 Bundles of Black Barley, 228 Chicken Eggs, 114  Drop of Fine Clover Honey, and 114 Oxtails) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

Eastemnet (760/1,520)

• For each Rabbit with Bacon and Turnips, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1 Bunch of Turnips
  • 1  Bowl of Duck Stock, each of which requires:
    • 2 Uncooked Duck Breasts
    • 1 Bunch of Turnips
    • 1 Bottle of Water
  • 1 Coney
  • 1 Piece of Uncooked Bacon
  • 1 Lump of Butter
• 76 Rabbit with Bacon and Turnips (152 Bunches of Turnips, 152 Uncooked Duck Breasts, 76 Conies, 76 Pieces of Uncooked Bacon, and 76 Lumps of Butter) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 152 additional, or a total of 228, Rabbit with Bacon and Turnips (456 Bunches of Turnips, 456 Uncooked Duck Breasts, 228 Conies, 228 Pieces of Uncooked Bacon, and 228 Lumps of Butter) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

• For each  Cheddar Pear Pie, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1  Jar of Pear Preserves, each of which requires:
    • 1  Bowl of Poached Pears, each of which requires:
      • 1 Bunch of Pears

      • 1 Bottle of Water

• For each  Seven-star Stew, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1  Anórien Chicken Stock, each of which requires:
    • 1 Uncooked Chicken
    • 1 Pinch of Anórien Spices
    • 1 Bottle of Water
  • 2  Anórien Taters
  • 1 Haunch of Venison
  • 1 Chicken Egg
• 60  Seven-star Stews (60 Uncooked Chickens, 60 Pinches of Anórien Spices, 60 Bottles of Water, 120  Anórien Taters, 60 Haunches of Venison and 60 Chicken Eggs) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Proficiency.
• 120 additional, or a total of 180,  Seven-star Stews (180 Uncooked Chickens, 180 Pinches of Anórien Spices, 180 Bottles of Water, 360  Anórien Taters, 180 Haunches of Venison and 180 Chicken Eggs) must be crafted/purchased in order to attain Mastery.

• For each  Beef Pasty, the following ingredients are required:
  • 1  Herbed Pastry Dough, each of which requires:
    • 1  Ball of Dough, each of which requires:

      • 1 Bottle of Water
    • 1  Ithilien Fresh Herbs

  • 1  Bowl of Beef Stock, each of which requires:
    • 1  Golden Shire Tater
    • 1 Flank of Beef
    • 1 Bottle of Water

  • 1  Ironfold Fresh Herbs
  • 2  Drops of Honey
