Description
Borondir was an errand-rider of Gondor, one of six send to the Éothéod by steward Cirion Gwaedhir in search of aid against an army of Orcs and Balchoth. Borondir alone surived the journey, bearing the Seal of the Stewards and a bloody arrow to show the direness of Gondor's need. Borondir met with Eorl the Young, the 25-year old ruler of the Éothéod, and soon, the young chieftain rallied his people and travelled south to join forces with those of Gondor. Borondir was of mixed Dúnadan and Thíuda blood.
