Sign of the Wild: Rage
- 40m Range
- This sign asks your animal friend to go into a rage, attacking faster and making itself look as threatening as possible. You cannot have more than one Sign of the Wild active on your companion at a time without the trait 'Master of Beasts'.
- +10% Perceived Threat
-5% Attack Duration
- Duration: 10m
- Cost: ... Power
- Cooldown: 30s
The trait Master of Beasts allows you to have both Signs of the Wild active at the same time and enhances these skills by making them remove up to three poison, wound, fear and disease debuffs with the maximum strength of five levels above your own from your pet.
The trait set bonus for The Keeper of Animals (3) enhances this effect by adding another -5% attack duration.
The trait set bonus for The Keeper of Animals (4) enhances this effect by adding another -5% attack duration, as well as extending the duration by ten minutes.
The Lore-master's Book Legacy Threat - Sign of the Wild: Rage increases the threat received from the effect of this skill by up to 15%.
Sign of the Wild skills can be used out of combat and apply a buff to your pet. You can only have one active at a time, unless you have the Master of Beasts trait equipped. Sign of the Wild: Rage is a good choice if you want your pet's DPS to increase, or if you want it to tank for you. If you want the latter, it is especially useful to have a legendary book equipped with the legacy when using the skill. The pet's perceived threat can then increase to a total of 25%. Swapping to another book will not alter the already applied buff.
The animation of Sign of the Wild: Rage shows the word ruyth, written in Tengwar. This is a small mistake of the creators of this game: if the anna rune would've been replaced by a long carrier it would have shown rûth, which can be translated as 'rage'.
