How to Reach Mastery in Each Tier* (Proficiency XP/Mastery XP)

Note*: The figures given are calculated on the assumption that critical success will never occur. Actual figures may in fact be lower than those that are given. Furthermore, the recipes listed in order to attain mastery are merely suggestions. These suggestions are chosen due to the fact that they yield the largest amount of craft XP . If so desired, other recipes may be used. However, it should be noted that doing so may require a larger number of materials in order to attain the same goal.

Apprentice (200/400)

• For each Scroll of Minor Battle Lore Scroll of Minor Battle Lore, the following items are required:
  • 1 Early Third Age Relic, which requires:
    • 2 Aged Scraps of Text
  • 1 Aged Scrap of Text
• 13 Scrolls of Minor Battle Lore, 13 Early Third Age Relics, and 39 Aged Scraps of Text must be crafted in order to attain Proficiency.
• 25 additional, or a total of 38 Scrolls of Minor Battle Lore, 38 Early Third Age Relics, and 114 Aged Scraps of Text must be crafted in order to attain Mastery.

Journeyman (280/560)

• For each Scroll of Lesser Battle Lore, the following items are required:
  • 1 Ruined Second Age Trinket, which requires:
    • 2 Worn Tablet Fragments
  • 1 Worn Tablet Fragment
• 18 Scrolls of Lesser Battle Lore, 18 Ruined Second Age Trinkets, and 54 Worn Tablet Fragments must be crafted in order to attain Proficiency.
• 35 additional, or a total of 53 Scrolls of Lesser Battle Lore, 53 Ruined Second Age Trinkets, and 159 Worn Tablet Fragments must be crafted in order to attain Mastery.

Expert (360/720)

• For each Scroll of Battle Lore, the following items are required:
  • 1 Faded Sindarin Passage, which requires:
    • 2 Cracked Dwarf-carvings
  • 1 Cracked Dwarf-carving
• 23 Scrolls of Battle Lore, 23 Faded Sindarin Passages, and 69 Cracked Dwarf-carvings must be crafted in order to attain Proficiency.
• 45 additional, or a total of 68 Scrolls of Battle Lore, 68 Faded Sindarin Passages, and 204 Cracked Dwarf-carvings must be crafted in order to attain Mastery.

Artisan (440/880)

• For each Scroll of Elder Battle Lore, the following items are required:
  • 2 Scroll of Lothlórien, each of which requires:
    • 2 Fragments of Dúnedain Script
• 20 Scrolls of Elder Battle Lore, 40 Scrolls of Lothlórien, and 80 Fragments of Dúnedain Script must be crafted in order to attain Proficiency.
• 40 additional, or a total of 60 Scrolls of Elder Battle Lore, 120 Scrolls of Lothlórien, and 240 Fragments of Dúnedain Script must be crafted in order to attain Mastery.

Master (520/1040)

• For each Scroll of Ancient Battle Lore, the following items are required:
  • 2 Undeciphered Moon-letters, each of which requires:
    • 2 Worn Elf-carvings
• 24 Scrolls of Ancient Battle Lore, 40 Undeciphered Moon-letters, and 80 Worn Elf-carvings must be crafted in order to attain Proficiency.
• 48 additional, or a total of 72 Scrolls of Ancient Battle Lore, 144 Undeciphered Moon-letters, and 288 Worn Elf-carvings must be crafted in order to attain Mastery.

Supreme (600/1200)

• For each Relic of Khazad-dûm, the following items are required:
  • 2 Tattered Khuzdul Parchments, each of which requires:
    • 2 Etchings of Moria each of which requires:
      • 2 Rune-carved Tablets
• 25 Relic of Khazad-dûm, 50 Etchings of Moria, and 100 Rune-carved Tablets must be crafted in order to attain Proficiency.
• 50 additional, or a total of 75 Relic of Khazad-dûm, 150 Etchings of Moria, and 300 Rune-carved Tablets must be crafted in order to attain Mastery.

Westfold (680/1360)

• For each  Dunland Lore-book, the following items are required:
  • 2 Tomes of Wisdom, each of which requires:
    • 2 Books of Knowledge each of which requires:
      • 2 Scrolls of Insight each of which requires:
        • 2 Scraps of Weathered Dunlending Text
• 11  Dunland Lore-books, 22 Tomes of Wisdom, 44 Books of Knowledge, 88 Scrolls of Insight, and 176 Scraps of Weathered Dunlending Text must be crafted in order to attain Proficiency.
• 33 additional, or a total of 44  Dunland Lore-books, 88 Tomes of Wisdom, 176 Books of Knowledge, 352 Scrolls of Insight, and 704 Scraps of Weathered Dunlending Text must be crafted in order to attain Mastery.

Eastemnet (760/1520)

• For each Scroll of Riddermark Battle Lore, the following items are required:
  • 4 Tomes of War Stories, each of which requires:
    • 1 Riddermark Leather-bound Journal
    • 2 Books of Ballads each of which requires:
      • 1 Riddermark Leather-bound Journal
      • 2 Scrolls of Poetry each of which requires:
        • 2 Scraps of Rohirric Text
• 4 Scrolls of Riddermark Battle Lore, 16 Tomes of War Stories, 32 Books of Ballads, 64 Scrolls of Poetry, 48 Riddermark Leather-bound Journals, and 128 Scraps of Rohirric Text must be crafted in order to attain Proficiency.
• 8 additional, or a total of 12 Scrolls of Riddermark Battle Lore, 48 Tomes of War Stories, 96 Books of Ballads, 192 Scrolls of Poetry, 144 Riddermark Leather-bound Journals, and 384 Scraps of Rohirric Text must be crafted in order to attain Mastery.

Westemnet (840/1680)

• For each Scroll of Westemnet Battle Lore, the following items are required:
  • 1 Tomes of War Campaigns, which requires:
    • 1 Riddermark Leather-bound Journal
    • 2 Books of Battle Plans each of which requires:
      • 1 Riddermark Leather-bound Journal
      • 2 Scrolls of Tactics each of which requires:
        • 2 Tattered Rohirric Parchments
• 15 Scrolls of Westemnet Battle Lore, 15 Tomes of War Campaigns, 30 Books of Battle Plans, 60 Scrolls of Tactics, 45 Riddermark Leather-bound Journals, and 120 Tattered Rohirric Parchments must be crafted in order to attain Proficiency.
• 29 additional, or a total of 44 Scrolls of Westemnet Battle Lore, 44 Tomes of War Campaigns, 88 Books of Battle Plans, 176 Scrolls of Tactics, 132 Riddermark Leather-bound Journals, and 352 Tattered Rohirric Parchments must be crafted in order to attain Mastery.
