Bestowal Dialogue

'The Elves call me Egfinnel, though in the speech of Men I am Thornmane. Little have I travelled through this forest, but much have I seen that troubles me.

'The Wildwood has grown far too wild. Plants and trees who should not be in this area are making the growing hard for those who should, hoom. Clear away bittercreep, stenchwort, and wilderyew saplings, and I shall think about letting the townsfolk through.'

Background

An angry Ent blocks passage into the Wildwood, but he may be convinced, with some persuasion, to let the people of Trestlebridge into the forest.

Objective 1

  • Destroy stenchwort (0/10)
  • Destroy bittercreep vines (0/8)
  • Destroy wilderyew saplings (0/10)

Bittercreep, stenchwort, and wilderyew saplings can be found in the northern Wildwood.

Thornmane has asked you to deal with some botanical issues in the Wildwood.

Objective 2

Thornmane is in the central Wildwood.

You should talk to Thornmane.

Thornmane: 'Hoom, hum. You managed to remove only the plants and trees I indicated? You seem to have a good eye, Little One. I will teach your people what they may remove without depleting the forest.'
