Welcome Around and Some Tips
Hi Sigibert, I noticed your edits to some pages which I reverted. I want to explain why. Comments, hints and tips on "category" pages are generally frown upon. A category page contains just other sub-categories and pages, and text on the refer only to the contained material, nothing else. Hence we seldom link to not-contained items. The other case was about quest dependencies; most often such quests have a Quest Chain box where such info is found. And we try to keep its content following a certain "pattern" which is not hard to grasp once you get into editing. PS. I see that Category:Trollshaws Quest Chains is not really up to standard. It should be cleaned up. However, it also contains [[:Category:Rivendell Quest Chains|Category:Rivendell Quest Chains]] as it should. DS. — Zimoon 23:55, 24 December 2021 (UTC)
- Hi. When undoing another user's good faith edits, please use the Undo button and provide an explanatory note in the edit summary. The rollback feature is intended to revert obvious vandalism and disruptive edits, not as a means to bite newcomers. --Sigibert (talk) 14:31, 25 December 2021 (UTC)

- BTW, I noticed you created a plural redirect for Item:Mark. Usually we avoid that because it may cause future work if we need a page called just "Mark", would the need arise. But, ...
- I wonder if it is not this use case you are looking for?

- The reason for the redirect was that I typed Marks into the search bar and Item:Mark was the 17th hit. It might need to be updated in the future if the page got created. --Sigibert (talk) 22:01, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for quick reply and fair enough. Usually you get a good response but some words are harder for the indexer. If you know it is an item you can always start with "Item:... That helps a lot. Those small limitations with computer programs we learn to work around ;-) Zimoon 22:36, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

Halberd item
Hi Sigibert! I noticed you added Númenórean Halberd of Endurance to the wiki, but added no information on how it can be obtained. I assume you just got it as a drop on a random enemy of level 59? - Unfortunately I only happened to find it in my inventory after a bunch of instances. If I get it again I will certainly try to log what dropped it. Is there logging in this game where I can search back to see what dropped something? --Sigibert (talk) 23:50, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
