Thanks

Thanks for your many nice contributions, they are indeed appreciated. Don't let my or anybody else's "polishing" let you down, we just try to keep some kind of uniform style. Hence there are "pre-formatted blue-prints" with wanted style and layout, see Help:Contents ⇒ Boilerplates. These are not etched in stone, you may suggest improvements or better layout at their talk-pages, but until some consensus is found we all follow their current style.

Again. much welcome :) -- Zimoon 15:50, 19 September 2012 (EDT)

Remove the images I uploaded

Could any admin please delete ALL of the images I uploaded? It's my first time I upload an image here and I messed it up, so please delete them all.... :]

No problem, it is done. -- Zimoon 13:48, 1 October 2012 (EDT)

Crannog

I noticed that you had added "Chieftain" as title for Crannog. However, he really does not read that title and thus I removed it. The Title and Role parameters are used only for what you see in-game, such as "Bard Of Aughaire" as title (and you add Bard as Type1 or Type2. Or Supplier as Role as that is a visible title and we have a category for Suppliers (Role automagiclly adds the page to category, while Title does not). No harm done though, I just wanted to explain the purpose of those parameters, more details are found at different help pages.

Thanks for your explanation. / Faravil
You are welcome. And I like your page about Trév Gállorg :-)
I am not sure you need to list each NPC and so as those are also listed at different locations, or they should be. But I love the lore you have compiled from quests, deeds, and what not. That compilation of the lore is what makes this page worth its weight in gold.
I wanted to ask if you planned to compile a corresponding page for Trev Duvárdain?
Of course both these hillmen tribes are invented by Turbine. Nevertheless the story is nicely fleshed out and adds a bit of filling to the region of Angmar. Either way, thanks in advance for your great submissions, I think I can speak for all editors saying we like it :)

Thank you so much! Yes, I'm working on a Trev Duvárdain page, (currently gathering lore) I'll make the page in a couple of days or so, when I've got the time. I'm also thinking of creating more tribe/ faction pages. For example Tarkrîp, Ongbúrz pages.
I did the list of NPC's mostly as fill up and I'll probably add wich mobs that follow Trev Duvárdain in that page. Thanks, again mate.-- Faravil
I am really looking forward to those tribe/faction pages (a swede from the north but living in the capital now). -- Zimoon 10:17, 6 October 2012 (EDT)
I echo Zimoon's comments: those Trev pages are very nice. Well done! -- Elinnea (talk) 11:40, 15 October 2012 (EDT)

Ettenmoors

There's lots of things that've happened in the Ettenmoors since the release of Riders of Rohan. And there's lots of things to update there. Is this a good project to be working on? I believe it's a interesting thing to read about so I found it rather important. What does everyone else say about this? -- Faravil

Absolutely! Nobody will stop you :)
I guess we all have our "babies" that we update and tend the more, but that does not rule out anybody from sharing the fun at some section or project. Word of advice though: if lots of things have changed it may be better to kind of find a logical way of covering them, in case you suddenly bail out (IRL job, sickness, moving, whatever) it is a bit clearer what might have been done and what not. That could be locations (one after the other), or just doing quests, or items, or something else, until done and then next. You decide though. Good luck :)

That is most definitely a good project! PvMP is a difficult project to take on unless you're really involved with it in-game, and historically it's been a bit of a gap here at Lotro-wiki. I've seen a few people plunge into it, only to be dismayed by how out-of-date they find everything, and abandon ship. If you find the same thing, I'd encourage you to not get bogged down in details, and think about priorities - the major systems and recent changes should at least be current and correct.
I'm not trying to frighten you away from it, of course. Whether you're motivated by need, challenge, or opportunity, there's something there for you in the Ettenmoors section. ;) -- Elinnea (talk) 22:49, 11 November 2012 (EST)
Hmmm, I shall think about the Ettenmoors before I get into it, it's never fun abanoding a project half way in. Maybe I should take a look at the minor NPCs and such at first. -- Faravil
No worries, if you need to go you go. But that was why I suggested you pick a cake-size you can chew, figuratively speaking ;) -- Zimoon 13:09, 13 November 2012 (EST)

Faldham with neighbourhood

Don't be mad at me for "fixing" your hard work, please. We have worked hard, and for a long time, to make location pages informative, with a uniform and great look, and still there are lots to do and we have learned over time. A tip is to look at location pages for the lower lever areas; anything above level 45 are not 100% completed yet, but will be. Personally I often look at Ost Guruth since it is medium complexity, but there are many others as well, but I always have the Create new location (or rather one of its sub-pages) open in the background for easy copy and paste. Please, follow the format on those boilerplates to the letter. It makes it so much easier to find information, and to add update or add new stuff.

Many, many thanks for your nice additions, no doubt you do a great job. Just wanted to point you to some helpful pages in the work. Other helpful link is the "Help" link in the left column, and then either the "Article Creation" box or the "Boilerplates" box, I open this page a few times a day when editing ;) A final tip, if something is changed after your last edit, review the "history" and the comments, we senior editors always (ahem!!) add a comment when "fixing" or "correcting" something.

Good luck and have a great weekend

Yes, yes, i'm still at learning phase and attempted to make something from scratch, this resulted in my work with Faldham. And I will, and I am trying to do it as the other pages, but I should indeed have a better look at the help pages. I really appreciate the help you've been giving me, truly. I really like finding lore as you may have noted, and i'm right now trying to have a look on the important NPCs of the Epic story that hasn't been given much attention yet. Please, tell me if I do something wrong so I may correct it or make it better the next time.
Good weekend to you too.

Good that you did not grew irate on me. You do great, I just wanted to excuse myself ;)
