Mormael was recently defending the Delving of Fhror from a troll, when he was ambushed by orcs. Eadil and Idhien rushed to his aid, managing to slay the orcs but not before Mormael was grieviously wounded. He died a few days later and was buried in the tomb of his fore-fathers in the Realm of Gondor.
