- This page is about Urudanî as an NPC. For Urudanî as an enemy in Mordor Besieged, see Urudanî Stonemaiden.
Description
Urudanî Stonemaiden (Adûnaic for Mountain-woman) is one of the Gúrzyul, Black Númenóreans given indefinite lifespans by Sauron.[1] She was in charge of building a fortress within Nargroth once Talath Úrui was reclaimed from Gondor. The construction woke an ancient Rogmul, Borangos the Horror, who turned Urudanî and her Orcs into his flame-infused servants. Now Urudanî is no longer merely Gúrzyul, she is some kind of wraith - one formed entirely of fire.[2][3]
Urudanî (Gúrzyul)
Urudanî Stonemaiden is seen as a flesh-and-blood woman during a flashback granted by Zaghárog.
Quest Involvement
Urudanî (Flame-wraith)
Urudanî, now also known as the Maiden of Flame,[3] is seen in her present form in several locations around Talath Úrui. She commands Thraknûl, Warden of Naerband, and often accompanies Borangos her master.
As a flame-wraith, she possesses mysterious abilities. She is able to see through a disguise that her fellow Gúrzyul and even Borangos and Lhaereth cannot,[4] and has been reported to induce a burning sensation in someone's head by looking at them, even from a distance.[5]
