Description
Uglúk was the leader of the Uruk-hai war-band that abducted Merry and Pippin from Parth Galen in Rohan. Intending to deliver the Hobbits to his master Saruman in Isengard, Uglúk and his underlings were ambushed and killed by Éomer and his Éored outside the Eaves of Fangorn in the Entwash Vale. The site of the massacre is now known as Éomer's Vengeance.
Though Uglúk is never actually seen alive by adventurers, Uglúk makes two posthumous appearances in quests.
