King Turambar Onótimo was the Ninth King of Gondor, ruling from 541 to 667 of the Third Age. He succeeded to the throne young, after the untimely death of his father Rómendacil I at the hands of the Easterlings. Turambar not only avenged the loss of Rómendacil, but carried his conquests into the lands of the Easterlings themselves, winning much new territory for his Kingdom.
Turambar Onótimo ruled Gondor for 136 years, and was succeeded by his son, Atanatar I. He was honored with a statue and plaque on the Pier of Minas Tirith.
