King Atanatar I (Quenya for Man-father) was 10th King of Gondor, ruling from TA 667 until his death in TA 748. He was the son of Turambar Onótimo, the renowned conqueror of the Easterlings.
Atanatar I's reign was largely peaceful and uneventful, and he governed Gondor without major conflict or upheaval. After ruling for 81–82 years, he was succeeded by his son, Siriondil.
He was commemorated with a statue and plaque in the Workers' Tier of Minas Tirith.
