Description
Tarcil was son of Arantar. He ruled as the sixth King of Arnor for 80 years, beginning III 435. He died 235 years old.
The name means "High Man" but Tarcil is applicable to anybody of Dúnedain. (Existing alternative spellings: Tarcil and Tarkil.)
Tarcil was the father of Tarondor who succeeded him as the High King.
