I'm not so sure about this sentence: "If the original item is dyed, yet previously stored in wardrobe as another colour, then copying the item into the wardrobe yet another time will store the new colour of the original item, overwriting any dye that was applied to the wardrobe copy."
I recently tried this, and I'm pretty sure that the new colour was added to the wardrobe on top of the original dye, not replacing it. Can anyone else confirm or deny? -- Elinnea (talk) 13:13, 24 September 2012 (EDT)
- Haven't tried that lately, but I'm pretty sure that's the case. In fact, during one of the previous fall festivals, I got two different Boar's Head masks from the Haunted Burrow chests, each in a different dye. Since they're the same basic item, adding one (in orange) put the item in the wardrobe, and adding the second (in black) added the additional dye option.
- Also, as requested, I've uploaded a new version of the Wardrobe image showing the Armour type divisions. :3 -- JnK (talk) 13:50, 24 September 2012 (EDT)
- I more or less recycled the old text, but honestly I do not know. Please polish grammar my and speling mistacces. -- Zimoon 17:18, 24 September 2012 (EDT)
I was wandering if they are the same thing, I cant find anything call just 'wardrobe'. --⇒ Authades ⇔ Talk ⇐ 03:18, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
- Should you wonder while you wander :)... Yes, the "Shared Wardrobe" is what was originally called simply "Wardrobe" ... Turbine is notoriously inconsistent -- using one name in general conversations (like on the forums) and another in-game. In the LOTRO Store, it is called "Shared Wardrobe," while at the Vault Keeper, it is listed simply as "Wardrobe."
- We do (did) have two different pages describing the same thing with no link or reference between them. The Shared Wardrobe page is now incorporated into the Wardrobe page, and the wording updated accordingly.
