Hador (Sindarin for Thrower) served as the 7th ruling Steward of Gondor, his rule lasting from 2278 until his death in 2395.
Hador's time as Steward took place during the Watchful Peace (TA 2063 – TA2460). He lived for 150 years, and ruled as Steward for 117 of them. Hador was the last Gondorian to live 150 years, and after his time the life-spans of those with Númenórean blood waned more rapidly. He was succeeded by his son, Steward Barahir.
