Barahir (Sindarin for Fiery-lord) served as the 8th ruling Steward of Gondor, his rule lasting from 2395 until his death in 2412.
Barahir's time as Steward took place during the Watchful Peace (TA 2063 – TA2460). He ruled as Steward for 17 years, and was succeeded by his son, Steward Dior, although it would be his daughter whose bloodline would continue.
