The sabre-tooth cats are a deadly and frequent hazard of the forests of Forochel. Only the bravest hunters amongst the Lossoth will dare to hunt in the vicinity of a Sabertooth den, and even they occasionally fail to return.

Sabre-tooth can be found in most areas on Forochel, scattered across the landscape. Some good locations include:

Approximately 14-16 Kalpa-kita up the path leading to Pynti-leiri^{[8.8N, 70.5W]}. These Kalpa-kita are relatively close together.
Around 23-35 various Kalpa-kita at the island of Kissa-sari^{[5.8N, 79.1W]}. A crossing to the island is located at ^{[5.7N, 78.4W]}.
Around 18-20 various Kalpa-kita throughout Leijona-kotin^{[6.8N, 73.3W]}. These Kalpa-kita are relatively spread out; however, there is a denser population along the path leading to the Sabre-tooth leader, Pitkä-hammas^{[6.4N, 72.9W]}.
