When traited, this skill applies a hotspot underneath the enemy target upon a critical hit. Fellows standing within the hotspot gain increased healing from  Raise the Spirit and  Bolster Courage.

• Specializing in the Watcher of Resolve trait tree makes this skill apply the Watcher of Resolve effect to the Minstrel upon a critical hit.
• The trait  Sharing a Story in the Protector of Song trait tree makes Ballads that critically hit reset the cooldown of this skill.
• The trait  Concussive Shout in the Warrior-Skald trait tree increases the critical chance of this skill by 30%.
• Specializing in the Warrior-Skald trait tree increases the range of this skill by 5m.
